Dining Room Holiday Decor

I’ve rounded up my decor used throughout our newly finished dining room! I hope you find inspiration for the holiday season! I tried to keep it simple and rustic-elegant! I swapped out very little and added some little touches here and there. I have everything linked below the photos. Enjoy!

These pendants were actually purchased 3 years ago for our island and were comically large! I returned them and when deciding what to do in here, I had an AHA moment and repurchased them. they’re perfect. My husband also ran the electric and hooked them up himself, they were so easy! [and he is not an electrician, he writes insurance!]

Rob also built this door for about $200, including the track and hardware. It would’ve cost us over $1000 to buy and have installed! He used White Pine tongue and groove and 1×6″ planks, adhering it with wood glue and a nail gun. [1 1/4″ finishing nails]

The only changes I made to my mantle in this room were adding the garland and the wooden christmas tree. Everything else is always there! I’ll swap out the winter faux stem for Eucalyptus when the weather turns nice again. I linked candlesticks from Target that seem to be better quality than the ones I have here. Mine are from Amazon, but they’re flimsy and crooked, as you can see by the shortest candle.

This tree changed my life. Too dramatic? I’ve never had a flocked tree before and always wanted one. Rob also insists on a real tree, so we have one in the Family Room and I put this faux one in here. It adds such a nice ambiance to the room for our Holiday dinners. It’s from Best Choice Products, comes pre lit and took me about 2 minutes to set up. Fluffing is so easy too! The mirror is another hero piece of this space. It’s 48″ and creates such a warm, yet wow factor when you enter.

Thanks for reading! Stay tuned for the rest of our home and click here to see where this dining room started! Never forget where you came from!
