Holiday Shopping at the Freehold Raceway Mall

I spent the day at the Freehold Raceway Mall with my friend Meredith and it felt so good to get back to “normal”! It still wasn’t as crowded as it normally was pre covid, but the experience was so warming and wholesome and it gave me all the fuzzy holiday feels. Everything was decorated so festive, Santa was there of course and the music was pumping throughout the mall. It takes me around 30-45 minutes to get there but it’s so worth it! It’s definitely a destination or experience, for sure. We got there early in the morning around 11, got a smoothie to start the day and hit up some stores. Below I shared the stores we hit and linked my purchases along with some other fabulous products under the photo.

Boxlunch was our first stop; It has Pop culture-themed apparel, accessories, home goods, & collectibles. I snagged an impressive 3000 piece Marvel Superhero puzzle for Bert. I am such a puzzle person and so is he, so this is going to be something really special we can do together over the winter break! I also grabbed my nephew a 100 piece Baby Yoda puzzle and a Baby Yoda Clip for his backpack, because he’s super into Star Wars. They had a fabulous selection of products that would make perfect stocking stuffers too. You can shop for everyone from baby to adult and even grab a crock-pot covered in Spiderman! It’s definitely the spot to go for anyone in your life who has a love for a theme; Disney, Movies, Superheros etc. They even have a healthy Bob Ross collection, which of course for me, is a huge win!

Next we hit Offline by Aerie; They’ve got leggings, sports bras, tops, workout dresses, skirts, and more — all made for movement. They have some of the softest materials I’ve ever felt, and I am all about the softness! You can also make really cute gifts for stockings, Secret Santas or grab bags with their self care products [bath balms, lotions etc] and winter accessories. I snagged all the things you see me wearing or holding in this photo!

Windsor was next; they offer clothing that fits the life and work styles of today’s contemporary woman. The abundance of sequins caught my attention first and I fell in love with the most adorable belted dress, perfect for the holidays! In typical fashion, I also left with a beige duster cardigan and brownish colored knit hat. I couldn’t resist the beautiful neutrals. They also had the cutest bags, hats, accessories and even all the things needed for the perfect bachelorette party! The Sales Manager even took her mask off to take a pic with me! They were so fun and friendly!

After, we went to Aveda; Professional hair and skincare products that give you a fashion-forward look while supporting eco-friendly practices. I told the sales associate my skin and hair troubles [that I left the dermatologist that morning with a report of exceptionally dry skin!] and she directed me in the right direction. She was so knowledgeable and patient, willing to help me until I finally decided on the perfect products. I love that everything is clean and vegan too!

Around 2pm, we finally stopped for lunch. They have a few really nice restaurants but we ate at Brio Tuscan Grille and it was delicious! Not only was the food good, but they went above and beyond to accommodate my friend, who can’t have dairy. We had the most amazing Peach Sangria, Calamari, Bruschetta Sampler, Steak Salad and Ravioli di Bello [Portabello stuffed….YUM]

They’re all located in one section of the mall, in a courtyard-esque location with pretty lit trees and benches; you feel like you’re in a park. It’s so quaint and calming. [They of course also have your typical food court with the usual, including Cinnabon and Auntie Anne’s…need I say more?!]

We headed back inside to finish up some shopping but we also stopped to checkout this amazing Art Installation, done by local artists from Asbury! It’s called Art Outside Of The Box and it’s this awesome fusion of Art and Nature, having used repurposed cardboard to create the most incredible interactive mural!

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I love all things under the sea, so this one side was definitely my favorite, but all of it was honestly so impressive to be around!

I felt like Alice in Wonderland next to this thing, it really was so cool! I might be biased because I’m a person of the arts myself, but it’s definitely something you should check out even if you’re not!

After the mural, we stopped into Lucky Brand and oh em gee, was it good! Lucky has been around forever but if you weren’t aware, they have vintage-inspired denim, sportswear, outerwear, T-shirts, activewear, and accessories for men and women. I needed this sweater but they only had a large, so when I got home, I may or may not have bought it online…Their hats are adorable but my head remains too large to pull this look off! **crying**

Lovisa was the last store on our adventure; they have brilliantly affordable, on-trend jewelry. I got the cutest black and gold ring stack, a gold rectangular necklace and a great travel jewelry box! Meredith got a beautiful Celtic-style gold and cubic zirconia ring that resembles her wedding band, to wear on her other hand.

Their sales are phenomenal and they have something for literally everyone! I can’t link their products unfortunately, but I put some photos below for you to see! They do have a website where you can shop online and ship to your home.

One of my favorite parts of this mall, and probably one of the most widely known, is the giant carousel on the second floor that you see through the glass tower as you arrive. It’s truly magical, especially during the holiday season.

They also have a great variety of stores. I went into some stores for the first time and also hit up some favorites. They have something for every body and every occasion; holiday parties, bachelorette parties, gifts for all ages…We only hit 6 stores and ate lunch and got home at 5pm! We def took our time, but I would love to go back for a round 2! I hope this helped guide you a little bit with where to shop! I love this magical time of year!

As always, thanks for being here!

XOXO
